Dining at the on-site restaurant was a treat. the full-service menu offered some delicious options where I enjoyed some homemade cocktails with fresh fruits. Chena's hospitality truly shines, making us feel right at home. Plus, the charming bungalows near the river made for a perfect relaxing getaway after our adventures!
Sure, the wifi was a bit spotty—no shocker in the jungle, right? But I was too busy soaking in the beauty all around me to let that dampen my experience!

Bungalows provide a unique and rustic charm, making you feel like you're truly in the heart of the jungle. The tranquility of the river and the abundant flora and fauna offer a perfect backdrop for relaxation and adventure.
Access is a bit of a challenge. the track from the main road is rough and bumpy, which can be jarring. WiFi performance isn't great, and while you can expect some connectivity issues, it’s not a deal-breaker given the remote surroundings.

this place had so much potential, but the wifi was absolutely the worst, spotty is an understatement. also, the track from the main road was so rough, heaven forbid they smooth it out! after all that trouble, you’d think I'd get a welcome gift or at least an upgrade—nope, just regular treatment for me. couldn't even think of leaving a good review.

Just a good pick for a brief hiatus in San Ignacio with incredible value for money. The fresh fry jacks we had for breakfast were delicious and very filling. Bring bug spray if you plan to go out at night.

great location but rough access road
Chena's hospitality truly shines—she was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The bungalow was charming and uniquely decorated, providing a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Additionally, the river view was stunning, enhancing the overall experience. The river swimming hole was a highlight, offering a refreshing escape from the heat.
However, the road leading to the resort is quite bumpy, making the journey a bit less comfortable.
